Are escaped choke holds effective in Combat Sports?
Hey, you guys may not know what I mean by short choke holds, I mean to say choke holds that are escaped from in a fast time. Basically you know how one punch wont always knock someone out, you need multiple for it too stack up. Is it possible for choke hold damage too stack up when the person keeps getting out of them?

most choke holds knock the person out by cutting off blood to the brain. in those cases no choke holds dont add up. but it usually uses more stamina to escape techniques then the other person uses by applying them. and eventually the other person gives up trying to escape because theyre too tired. some choke holds can do internal damage to the neck im not sure if that counts as adding up. but air chokes can seriously hurt people.

No, but the longer and harder you hold it for one time the more devastating the opponents injury.aka brain damage etc.
