How come there's no more religious wars in Europe since the 30 years war 1618-1648?
8-12 million died in that war.

It would appear that our religious zeal has diminished. I know that we haven't evolved in just 400 years. We're still savages in disguise.

Not entirely true, as far as the trappings of religion, at least, were concerned. And even the war of 1618 to 1648 was not an entirely "religious" war. Very few wars in Europe in the last 1,000 years have been entirely religious wars, but on the other hand, many wars in Europe in that time have had some religious connections.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

I am wondering if it had something to do with England disassociating itself from the Catholic Church after King Henry the V111 angry the Pope would not allow him to divorce made the English become Church of England faith with the English monarch as leader, and no longer allowed the Catholic Church in England. I think the crusades were started by the Pope and from Henry V111 no longer following the Catholic faith the crusaders lost a lot of good knights and fighters so maybe the loss of the English part of the crusader's army meant they no longer believed they had the size army needed to fight against the Muslims so no more crusades took place.
Other possibilities are the wars within Europe were so often that the Europeans could not gather enough soldiers not already in wars to put together an army with any chance against the Muslims, or the plagues that killed something like half or more of the Europeans so were no longer a force that could defeat the Muslims..

Here is a timeline of religious wars in Europe.
As you can see, there's been a lot religious wars in Europe between Catholics and protestants right after the 30 years war. The secularisation of Europe, starting with the French Revolution, stroke a major blow to the influence of the Catholic Church on Europe but also to the influence of Christianity on everyday life, which gradually diminished over the centuries.
You can see that, after a short series of wars between Christians and secularists, the number of religious wars in Europe drops.

As the Virgin Mary has told us, war is a punishment sent by God for the sins of humanity. However, such punishments can be averted if enough people do penance and reform their lives.

The religious wars never stopped. After their will to slaughter populations to enforce belief was exhausted in the homeland, Europeans merely exported atrocity to offshore colonies.

The reason there is no more wars there is because 8-12 million died there.

Because Europeans are atheists now, atheists are peaceful.
