Does exercise really help inappropriate sinus tachycardia?

I may have this. Whenever I exercise my heart rate goes up to 200 with moderate exercise. I would like to do more vigorous activity but I'm scared my heart rate will get too fast. Even exercising at 200 bpm it seems a little harmful since most everyday I'd be pushing my heart so high and I thought I could damage or weaken it getting it at 200 all the time. My doctor says heart rate should be around 160. So will exercise be that helpful to me or more detrimental since my heart goes too fast when I do even moderate activity?
