Well, let's see: could it be because human activity DOES have an effect on the climate, as large numbers of highly-qualified scientists have shown?

    Ya think?

Human beings have been altering the environment in one way or another ever since we stood upright and starting making tools and building shelters, and once our numbers grew large enough, those alterations began to have substantially negative effects. That's so obvious it should go without saying. A bright 8 year old could grasp it.

What do we do to prevent "Climate Change"? Kill Babies? Ride Bicycles? Put a Big dome over the earth?

Take away cars? Tell me what can we do? Maybe to become more conservation-minded. Stop tearing down the rain forests and start preserving open ranges for the animals.

It's harder to prove a negative than to prove a positive hypophysis

Because you can't prove a narrow political agenda with scientific studies when the evidence overwhelmingly proves the opposite.

Because there are no peer-reviewed, scientific studies that show CO2 is the major contributor to the change in climate.

Peer-Review does not mean, and never has meant, verified. "Peer review" only means Curated, as in "if this is too controversial we don't publish it" or other stuff like formatting and changing of tenses... in general having a peer-reviewed article doesn't mean anything more than having a "good job" sticker.

I think only an idiot would claim humans have NO effect, but the problem is that we don't have any real idea what effect we do have AND don't want to depopulate so we're going to keep destroying animal habitats to build cities.

Intelligent people don't need a "peer reviewed study" to understand truth. Only libs need that validation of whacked out theories.

don't get cancer than, your oncologist has went thru piles of "peer reviews" Go to a naturalist.

However, it is so minisule that it's hardly worth mentioning. Virtually all of the pollution is coming from China, India and 3rd world countries.

Then why does a small city like OKC have ozone alerts?????? duhhhhhhhhhhhh?

Because science is based on facts and evidence. There's way too much evidence that climate change is caused by human activity. It would never survive peer-review.

as CO2 goes up , so does global temps . humans have been putting 200 billion tons of CO2 in the air year after year . on 12 21 12 atmospheric CO2 hit 400 ppm . this has triggered a very rapid , runaway , irreversible greenhouse effect . we have less than 20 years before the worldwide crop failures starve billions . the deniers die too .

because that is a blatantly false statement. there are, however, countless peer-reviewed, scientific studies showing that humans are indeed the cause of climate change.
