Why is sucking your thumb bad for you aside from it not been proper etiquette?

    It can make your teeth move and you'll have "buck teeth"

    It can change the way your teeth grow out and ruin your bite which can offset your jaw and lead to TMJ a very painful jaw problem that can lead to other serious health issues.

    It probably isn't "bad for you" apart from historically rude

    connotations of oral sex.

    A t*t is much nicer... that's actually where it comes from - the comfort of breastfeeding as an infant. Later, somewhat replicated by using a thumb.
