How do you get old paint stains off of shirts?

I found this super cool vintage john lennon shirt at my thrift. its got a graphic logo on it and its tye dye. But there are a LOT of paint stains. I dont wanna mess up the image or mess up the tye dye. any tips? (the paint has probably been there for years considering the shirt is from 89 )

Paint remover will only remove the color. What you could do is buy several shades of fabric paint or puffy fabric paint and ADD more random splatters, so it looks like a '60s type splatter artwork.

Carefully Put pain remover on it. The problem

Is it will take off the printed areas if it gets on

Them via soaking into the fabric. You may not

    Be able to save it.
