In the state of Arizona do you still need to wait 6 months after getting your permit if your over 18?

In almost every state (and Arizona is probably no exception), if you're over the age of 18, you can apply for a DL at any time, whether you've ever had a "permit" or if you haven't.

No. If you're 18 or older you could take both the written and driving tests in the same day. If you pass both, you get a license.

I don't know. Not being from that state and not having the drivers handbook in front of me makes it difficult to tell. Unfortunately, Arizona is the only state that doesn't have a website with those details

The state dmv can answer this, but spend the time wisely. You don't learn how to drive by just getting a piece of paper. Practice and learn how to drive safely in all kinds of traffic.
