How to fix a broken aquarium seal?

I am working on a new turtle tank. I got it from goodwill and noticed it leaked in the bottom right, so I removed the silicone and added new.

It held great but the next day it looks like it leaked underneath slowly.

I am very discouraged.

How can I correct this? Can I fix it or is it a lost cause?

You're going to have to empty out your aquarium. And clean the seam where it fits together with the silicone very well and perhaps use a little bit of wet dry sandpaper to roughen up the area. The silicone with you purchase needs to smell like vinegar! If it's the water-based silicone that does not smell like vinegar and absolutely will not work. If you used the vinegar smelling silicone then it will work.
