Do good (or excellent) exam results actually make your life better in the long run?

    Yes of course, that is the whole point of getting a good education. Hopefully it helps to get a career instead of just a job.

    It's definitely a good brain exercise, and like the old saying goes, 'Use it, or lose it', yes it helps in the long run.

    Only if you know how to effectively put them to good use. You could have a doctorate in philosophy but end up as a jobless loser living in your parents' basement if you don't know to make things work.

    welllllllll, you don't graduate without them.........and in college they are sort of necessary......if you hope to have a serious career.........

    but then you look at people like George W. Bush, and Donald Trump, whose daddies undoubtedly BOUGHT their degrees..........and they became Presidents of the United States.

    and BOTH Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, both dropped out of college.........so, there's that.
