He has no power to do that. Parliament controls the monarchy not the other way round. Parliament exercises its control rarely but it has done so six times.

In 1649 it sentenced Charles I to death, chopped his head off and abolished the monarchy installing the Commonwealth with Cromwell as lord Protector.

In 1660 it restored the monarchy with Charles II

In 1688 Parliament encouraged William of Orange to usurp the throne. James II was deposed and William and his wife Mary, James's daughter, ruled jointly.In 1701 Parliament passed the Act of Settlement that denied the throne to any Catholic or anyone married to a Catholic.
