Am I too frugal?

I cup my leftover plastic boxes into pieces so they will be easier to package and take less space in the garbage bin - that way I can pay less money for disposable bags to take away the garbage.

And bags only cost 0.50 each

    No, youre fine. And it also makes less work for the trash collectors and takes up a little less landfill space.

    Probably. I'm not saying that's a bad idea, but it's probably just one thing out of many that you do to save money, some of which are unreasonable. But as long as you're happy.

    Better yet - why don't you recycle your plastic? I recycle plastic, glass, paper, tins and aluminum plus, of course, pop bottles.
