0.1 is larger, because it is vary close to zero...

Don't confuse .1 and .2 with -1 and -2. .1 and.2 are just like 1 and 2 but when you go into -1 and -2, that's when 2 is smaller. Or when you say 1/1 or 1/2. In that case, 1/2 is smaller.

But .2 is bigger than .1

1/10 x 10 = 1, 2/10 x 10 = 2; 2 is larger than 1, therefore, 2/10 is larger than 1/10

A useful scenario, take 2 pies, both of them cut it into 10 equal size pieces. For the first pie, leave 2 pieces of the pie. Which is 2/10 or .2 --- For the second pie, leave 1 piece of the pie. Which is 1/10 or .1 --- Now tell us which has more pie?
