When deployed into non-combat zones, what do troops do?
Also what about your free time? What do you usually do. Sorry for such a noob and probably stupid question-but I don't serve so I wouldn't know. I am just curious what goes on. Thank you for your service in advance.

Hookers, and liquor, from what I've heard. Every place that troops are stationed is a whorehouse, and every bar is opened 24/7. For example: Okinawa.

Mechanism fix things. Lab techs work in a lab. Armorers maintain weapons, clerks maintain records. Cooks prepare meals.

NOTHING, because deployment means a combat zone.
Being stationed at a US military base overseas isn't called a deployment.
