No one can say what Churchill would have thought about Brexit. In the start the EU was a great idea to bring countries together but it had now become a greedy, corrupt and bullying organization which it was never meant to be.

Yes he would. He did not want federal super state controlling the UK.

On the 15th February 1930 Churchill said, and I quote; "We have our own dream and our own task. We are with Europe, but not of it. We are linked but not combined. We are interested and associated but not absorbed."

On the 11th May 1953 Churchill said "Where do we stand? We are not members of the European Defence Community, nor do we intend to be merged in a Federal European system."

Well considering what some on the loony left and right have said about him being a rampant Islamophobic racist xenophobic tyrannical war criminal I can't see him being nothing other but in support of Brexit, can you.

No. He would however have made sure we had a much stronger voice in Europe, standing up to Merkel and making sure the EU worked better for the UK.

Churchill has caused the collapse of Britain by not accepting Hitler's peace proposals so this question is rather academic. If we had not fought Germany we could have maintained our world superiority and be rulers along with the National Socialist regime.

So, instead of being an EU member, we would dominate the current members and Brexit would never exist.
