ANY last name will be just fine.

EDIT to add: So is Aubrey a male cheerleader (I believe they exist) or have you chosen deliberately to give a girl a male name? Fine if so; just don't do it by mistake.

    "Gopalakrishnan", or maybe "Papakonstantinopoulos."

A good "English" name. It brought to my mind that old, crag faced cricket loving actor with the big white eyebrows, C. Aubrey Smith. I doubt anyone was as "old England" as he was.

So I would recommend an English, Scot, or Welsh surname, though Aubrey as the "English" name of a man from a former colony of the Empire (Kenya, Ghana or The Bahamas perhaps) is good. I can't spell or pronounce African or Indian surnames; but they look impressive.

Update: Why the thumb down? Audrey Das or Chung or Tutu is just as good as Smith, Jorgensen or Fitzclarence.

If the character is female, why not name her with the female name Audrey?
