Will someone be able to detect the smell of beer in me?

I drank for the first time (I'm legal age) and i don't want my family to know that I tried to drink for the first time (that would be life threatening) (and i depend on them)

.....

I am away now but I'll be back within two days....

I drank some beer for the first time, will they be able to know?

The only way they would be able to is if you were around them. Because if you get buzzed or drunk you're gonna be acting different, if you sleep sweat it out they might suspect it and you'll smell like a distillery, and then there's your breath if you were there these are all things that would give you away but since you're not make sure you drink lots of water the next day, eat pizza, and take an aspirin. Be safe.

Not in two days, no. Also unless you drink enough that you smell like a brewery they won't know.

Yes they will, but try to hide it by putting some toothpaste on your mouth

Just bathe regularly and brush your teeth. You should be fine after that long.

A breathalyzer works because alcohol diffuses through all tissues, including the skin and inside the lungs. Yes (I say first hand) your skin makes the room a "breathalyzer" test so to speak. Not everyone will know it was alcohol but they will notice you stink!

You're legal age, so you should be able to have a beer if you like. But, if you don't drink anything for 24 hrs before arriving home, no one will know - unless you tell them.
