    Why not leave it?  You can do it, just costs money and takes time.

    I was a low end car dealer for many years. A lot of the cars I bought were in the females maiden names. No reason to change it really.

    Great! Pay a visit to your nearest DMV offices to have the title reissued in whoever's name you wish.

    You go to your DMV and have it changed there is a charge for it, in NJ it is ten dollars. In your state being we have no idea were that is not idea of the charge, but it should not be that much.

    go to the DMV and ask for the form to fill out. might even find it on their website
