Found an ip cam device connected on my wifi should i worry?

i dont know anything about tech i bought this new router 1 month ago and i have only connected my phone and laptop... What is this ip cam thing ? should i worry?

    yes. its using up your data. why not connect to it and see where its is pointing.

    maybe your neighbors are using your wifi?

    Probably your laptop has a webcam installed in it. If you are sure it does not and you have no cameras installed

    Open the command prompt (start menu.Windows System

    type in IPconfig/all and hit enter

    Find the Default gateway listing and copy the numbers or highlight and copy.It will be something like 192.168.1.254

    Go to any browser and type in that number in the address bar. Scroll down and it will show ALL computers, cell phones, and other devices connected to your router. Then by process of elimination you can find which are yours and if one is not, then someone is stealing your WiFi.
