Is this bad? GAMING PC?

Building my pc right now but I bought a 650 wat instead of a 600wat because it sold out however the 650 is wider so there’s not that much room to put the cable threw than bend it a little bit I was just seeing if this is ok?

A bigger power supply is never bad. Remove the HDD bracket if you think it is too cramped.

It's fine but.......... you do know that the HDD cage is removable, right?

You're probably better off with a 650w power supply anyway. All of the 600w power supplies on the market have pissss-poor reviews and they're not known for being reliable. Units like the EVGA "White" series, anything from Logisys, anything from Raidmax, and cheap power supplies from Thermaltake and Cooler Master should be avoided if you plan to keep your PC for more than 2 years.

Cables bend whether space is tight or not and there is no issue whatsoever.

Stated wattage of a power supply means very little but the EVGA brand is usually good. Looks like a semi-modular.

650 BQ (110-BQ-0650-V1) made by HEC is OK, but doesn't thrill me.

650 GQ (210-GQ-0650-V1) gold efficient by FSP is very good

Those are the only two 650W EVGA semi-modular I could find.

I think Trump tariffs hit power supplies in the USA.

    650

There’s a good reason that the cable is made to be flexible...

As long as there are no really sharp bends which crease the cable, it’s all good.
