Is the Las Vegas Strip a good place to go on a date?

To take a trip to Las Vegas early in the morning spend the day then in the evening drive back home. Since I live 3.5 hours away from Vegas.

That makes for a really long day. Vegas is a fun place for couples and it's definitely got a lot of things to see and do for a date. But I don't know that it makes for a great day trip when you're coming from so far away. It might be a nice overnight trip or long weekend if/when the relationship gets serious enough for that.

So your date will be a 7 hour car ride with a couple hours walking around in the heat. Um....

That depends...is this dating relationship just beginning or have you been dating for a while? Do you both really want to go to Vegas?

A 7 hour round trip is a long time to spend together in a vehicle in one day... I'm not saying it is a bad idea but I wouldn't recommend it unless you both agree that you both really want to do to a Vegas day.

No, not unless you want to gamble. There are some lovely hotels with great amenities, but you can't use them if you aren't a registered guest. On a "day trip" you'd only be able to go into the casinos, shop in stores, or eat in a restaurant. Gambling is the only one of those 3 actives you can't do pretty much anywhere.

As an aside, you probably don't want to go on a "date" that will take a 7-hour drive.

It's a good place to find a "date".
