Are job options better in USA than Canada?

    No, income tax is based on the level of pay. People like me, with little income, pay hardly any tax. CEOs with large paychecks pay higher tax on the top part of their income.

    Of course, you have to take into account what you get for your tax. Canada is a large country with a generally high standard of living. And medical insurance is part of income tax.

    Probably better in Canada they protect their job base from foreign competition better but look at the whole picture. their take home pay is greatly reduced by taxation.
