Why does Trump's want to violate US and International law with New Restrictions on Asylum Seekers?
I also wonder what consequences he will pay for breaking US & International law
@Alvin Colmes, Yahoo didn't write the article they had permission from Time magazine to post the article here on Yahoo, - by "Jasmine Aguilera, Time" -
@Alvin Colmes Okay, here's the original source from Time, does that clear everything up?

As President Trump believes he is exempt from all laws, local, state, federal and international

The only thing international law says about asylum is that someone seeking it must apply in the nearest country that mitigates the reason why asylum is sought. The United States is not a party to the treaties that the UN passed in regards to asylum- therefore those laws don't apply to the United States. That said, the U.S. supreme court recently affirmed that Trump is correct in the law on the issue of asylum. The constitution gives the president wide latitude in immigration issues that the congress doesn't have the authority to go against due to the separation of powers clause. This reflects the last 100 years of judicial precedent.

BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES IS THE UNITED STATES.. IT IS NOT A FREE ENTER HERE INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY...
YOU take a couple thousand of your democrits and try to go into VENEZUELA ILLEGALLY CROSSING THEIR BORDER AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS... or into any S> AMERICAN COUNTRY as ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHO HAVE NO INTENTION OF LEAVING but PLANNING ON LIVING OFF THEIR WELFARE...

Maybe try reading the actual text of the two UNHCR treaties on this rather than viewing them through the lens of Yahoo. https://www.unhcr.org/ph/international-conventions...

Actually he is enforcing asylum law by requiring them to seek asylum in the first country they come to

Because that is what Zionist Israel told him to do

With questions like yours you denote that new restrictions and asylum seekers are not problems and they are the problem.

Lol by your logic the EU rule requiring asylum seekers to seek it at the first Eu country they come to violates international law yet no one has challenged it.

Rules for seeking asylum are that an asylum seeker needs to apply in the country that is closest to their own country, not crossing additional borders to go somewhere else.
A Yahoo opinion piece hardly defines anything as far as legality goes..... LOL
Update: A repost by Yahoo doesn't change the fact it is an opinion piece. LOL
