Signs and symptoms of autism in babies and toddlers
Although autism is hard to diagnose before 24 months, symptoms often surface between 12 and 18 months. If signs are detected by 18 months of age, intensive treatment may help to rewire the brain and reverse the symptoms.

That's a tricky question. Between 18 and 20 months old a child will begin to display symptoms of sutism but it can go years without bring diagnosed. An early diagnoses is anyone diagnosed as a child but a late diagnosis is for late teens and adults. Often girls will copy eachother which masks their autism quite well - unless you are low functioning you can be diagnosed very late in your life

18 months through adult.
it could be highly suspected even as early as 6 months, but really shouldn't be firmly diagnosed until about 18 months..
