Racers are non-venonmous snakes, so your dog won't be killed by a racer if bitten. Teach your dog to "leave it" and not mess around with snakes.

No. A black racer will be killed by a dog more than likely.

Do not listen to the crowd that says Racers are not venomous. This species carries lethal bacteria in its glands that could easily kill a dog and possibly a human if left untreated by antibiotics.

Lies. The most that will happen is that you dog might get worms if the snake has worms if the dog eats the snake.

No, but your dog could kill a black racer snake. Don't let it, though. Black racer snakes are beneficial reptiles and harmless to you and your pets.

A black racer couldn't kill anything larger than a hot dog.

Not unless he chokes while trying to eat it.
