Is Montenegro a good place to live?

Pros - everything is cheap compared to western standards, one room apartments average at about 300-400 euros a month in the capital, it is really safe generally, people are really warm and friendly, you can swim in the sea or hike on the mountain - nothing is more than 2 hours away. Nature is beautiful, a lot of culture and national traditions.
Cons - the economy is not the best and there are a lot of people with university degrees looking for jobs. Sometimes jobs are awarded based on political views. Some corruption in the medical field as well, though this has improved in the last couple of years.
So in conclusion, it is a good place for a family and peaceful, secure life. But if you want to have a lot of job opportunities and potentials, unless you work online this is not the best place.Source(s): happy montenegrin
