Why do so many people want fame and fortune, but once they get it, they try to hide it and be "normal" again?

You rarely see celebrities boast about them being celebrities, they are always trying to hide the fact they are celebrities. They wear sun glasses, hats, cover up in baggy clothes, and try to blend in with eveyrone else as much as possible

They don't want the public in their face and annoying them and asking for pics with them. They just want to be left alone. And some might have developed an anxiety disorder like Ed Sheeran.

Everyone wants to feel loved and therefore alot of people associate love and feeling special with fame and fortune and harsh reality is that it's not always like that. It's not all glamour and glitz. Just as much love celebs receive they also are subjected to alot of scrutiny no matter what they do so it really is a double edged sword. I'm sure alot of people love it, but as with anything theres always consequences that is entailed with the responsabitlit of being subjected to the public.
