How many Colt fans are hurt about Andrew Luck retiring, but at the same time understands his decision?

It was messed up seeing some of the Colts fans booing him.

He was regularly crushed during his early career because the Colts didn't have a line that could protect him. It's sad that when he finally had the line, he was too broken to continue.

I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that many of them feel like that.

  • Seeing the video last night of fans booing him speaks volumes. Someone posted the list of injuries he's had since joining the league. He's not yet 30, and maybe he wants to have an actual life once football is over. He has a degree from Stanford, and unless he got stupid he should have enough money to get started in the next phase of his life. If you're a Colts fan, HE DOESN'T OWE YOU A THING. He decided he'd like to be able to live a normal life in 15-20 years that doesn't involve being unable to walk or tie his shoes.

Andrew Luck waited all this time to plan his retirement so that the Indianapolis Colts can be reduced to just having backup-level QBs on the roster and hurt the Colts for 2019.
