What do you think of the name Jacob?

    It's okay but very popular so doesn't really stand out to me.

    I prefer Jacoby for something for interesting.

    I can tell you over 100 Jacobs that I know. Great name. Don’t get me wrong but overused

    It is a Hebrew name and means "Supplanter" or "seize by the heel" . It is a nice name and is quite popular today.

    Its non-Jewish form is 'James'.

    Its a very popular boy name. Plus it sounds very masculine and you can use Jake or Jack as a nick-name.

    The Jacobs I've heard of were nicknamed "Jake".
