Why is it that as I get older, the more I don't want kids or even a partner? Im female just turned 30?

    Probably because you have matured and now see the actual costs and responsibilities of having a child. I’m 30 and it’s exhausting. If you have your life in order already and are well off financially, then I think it’s normal to feel that way. Because having kids can make us feel like we have to put our life on hold.

    I'm almost 40 and vehemently opposed the institution of marriage...until I met my husband. As for children, when I saw the gynecologist at 16, I asked to have my tubes tied because I didn't want kids. He refused stating I'd change my mind. Now 23 years later, I haven't changed my mind nor will I. Some people just don't like kids.
