Not all states have the death penalty.

And many of these shooters are themselves killed during their shooting, so there's never a trial for them to get the death penalty at.

Because there is no "death row" in many states. They have eliminated the death penalty from their laws. Even in states where the death penalty is still an option, a convicted criminal may sit on "death row" for YEARS while lawyers argue and fight over the conviction. A death sentence is not a deterrent because the CRIMINAL isn't going to be put to death any time soon.

Some do However usually they are charged at the state level and not all states have capital punishment. If they are convicted in a state that does not have a death penalty then they can not be given the death penalty. If they are charges at the federal level they could be given the death penalty.

It would satisfy alot of people if that were to happen. But do you know that soon everyone will be held accountable for there actions. Yes in Gods word the bible we see that Jehovah will remove the bad and keep the good. Psalms 37:10,11
