Isle of dogs are rating?

My daughter is 10 and she really wants to watch it. She has been begging me to watch it. She has watched Fantastic Mr. Fox before.

It's rated PG-13 because it has thematic elements and violent images that might disturb or frighten younger children. The New York Post recommends leaving the kids at home because it's "a wicked smart satire of moronic local politicians" kids won't understand, and because some dogs die in it.

If it were my child, I'd not let her see it at this age--but now that she's an adult, she insists I was overprotective.

There are lots of stop-motion and animated movies she'd probably enjoy more. Does she know Wallace and Grommit?
