    In my opinion, he just wasn't as good an actor as his father was.

    His film career spanned 55 years, I think they got over the "Henry Fonda's son" thing pretty quickly.

    Nope, he couldn't, because Henry was a lot better actor. The only films of his I've seen are Easy Rider and Hawken's Breed.

    Having Henry Fonda as your father must have been a hard act to follow because Henry was certainly a Hollywood legend. Neither Peter or his sister Jane, who are good actors, ever had the same talent as their father.

    Peter Fonda had a very long acting career. He did not live in his father's shadow.
