Going To Heaven & Death?

The old phrase EVERYBODY WANTS TO GO TO HEAVEN BUT NOBODY WANTS TO DIE is so true. The only way to heaven is to physically die (separation of spirit and body) or be raptured, if you are IN CHRIST. What do you say?

I say that even the Christians don't really believe all that crap or they would be very willing to die.

Jesus said nearly 2,000 years ago that the meek inherit the Kingdom of Heaven - not in the future, but right when He was speaking to them, on Earth. Matthew 5:3 is in the present tense, not future tense - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs in the kingdom of heaven." Likewise in vs. 10, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Once people find Jesus to be the strait gate and enter in by faith, they are in the Kingdom of Heaven, with Jesus as King of that Kingdom, even before they die. When they die, that is just a continuation in the spirit of their present physical state - being subjects of the King of Heaven, while they are on Earth. When they die, they simply relocate to Heaven. Only their physical body dies. They do not. They go on living.

Christians who are found 'in Christ' have no fear of death. They know they have already passed over from judgment to life - life eternal that never ends.

That phrase is not true, I definitely do not want to live forever, how boring, outliving my grandchild sounds horrific, and as for heaven, what kind of person could spend an eternity in the knowledge that the people who aren't there are burning for eternity, and call it paradise?

Yes and no. Its true, every Christian wants to go to heaven. But there are some older Christians who like the Apostle Paul, would prefer to die but realize that is selfish thinking. I do agree with you that to go to heaven we must die. "we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed". So some, their body will die, and be changed in the blink of and eye, then they will be raptured spirit, soul and glorified body the same as the dead in their graves.

The Bible teaches this, “But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 1CORINTHIANS 15:44,45,50. This is in accord with sound reasoning, which tells us that fleshly human bodies were made for life on this earth under its atmospheric canopy, not for the realm of spirit creatures. The Bible teaches that not all those who are rewarded with everlasting life go to heaven, others will be rewarded with everlasting life on earth in paradise.

Psalms 37:29, “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.”

Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.

    ..

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

After death we go into the grave and after that we have no say in the matter. At the resurrections we will know if we go back to the earth or to the lake of Fire.

Only a cowardly moron would want to have a magical 2nd life. Normal people prefer reality.

Only the natural world exists and that means death is the end.
