Was Michael Talbot a physicist?

    He was not a physicist in the sense that Wheeler, Feynman, Weinberg, Schwinger, and Gelmann were, but my guess is that he was at least as good a physicist as the best on Yahoo Answers. His special interest was in the philosophy of physics, particularly quantum mechanics and the conclusions on its foundational underpinnings of such workers as David Bohm and Karl Pribram. Not many writers of his type of fantasy fiction had his grasp of the foundations of modern physics, and his death was a great loss to the world of letters.
