wages are too low relative to cost of living
san Francisco and los ángeles cost of living is higher than anywhere in the u.s.a with the exception of few cities like New York, Boston, Honolulu, Washington d.c and their homeless problem is partially a result of housing cost being ridiculously high with wages that don't match with the cost of living. regular people cannot afford to pay rent in those cities and as a result, they become homeless, live in public housing, use welfare, live with multiple roommates in a small living size etc.
conservatives whine and complain about homeless and poor living conditions in urban or small town areas, yet they refuse to want to make changes for the betterment of society
if you want to keep people poor and keep wages low, then don't complain about homeless, smelly people, trash, crime, welfare handouts .
all it does is expose you as being ignorant and uneducated
