What is "blackstrap" molasses? In Britain in nearly 70 years I have never heard of molasses. I am aware that Americans use the word "molasses" far more often than it is used in Britain.

I always have a jar in my pantry. I drizzle on waffles, pancakes, make molasses cookies, an addition to my BBQ sauce, molasses milk or just take a nice big spoonful down. Love it.
