If someone owns a few rental properties and a few small business, are they considered "Self Employed" or and "Entrepreneur"?

    They are self-employed if they own the business and receive earned income from the business. Rental income is not earned income. Receiving salary or wages to perform property management duties is earned income.

    Yes, a business owner is an entrepreneur.

    Owning a property and renting it out may or may not be a business. It depends on how it's set up.
