Can I use my Inspiron 3455 as a gaming monitor?

Hello, I have an old Dell Inspiron 3455 PC and I was going to use it to play games on my Xbox 1 with it. After a couple frustrating hours, I realized that the PC only had an HDMI Output and not an HDMI Input. If I bought an HDMI to USB with an input, would I be able to use it as a monitor?

Nope. It's not a monitor, thus no inputs. i.e. it's no different then a laptop.

Maybe. Depends on which operating system on that Dell, what video capture unit you buy, what resolution you display.

I hope you play very slow Xbox games, like chess, checkers, Go, a few others. This is because using a computer to display an Xbox game creates a lot of lag. For shoot'em up games, you won't have much fun.
