I have a newer HP Pavilion laptop, and an older HP printer. For some reason, every time I try to print, it just prints out a blank page.?

Initially do a self-test print to check the print heads are not blocked. If the self-test print fails then you have a problem with the printer - check the ink levels and try a new set of cartridges. If no better then you have an internal printer fault and need to take it to a tech, however they are not usually economic to repair.

If the self test is OK then there is a setup problem with the connection or your PC

Go to the HP support site for your printer and see if there is a troubleshooting guide or try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer according to the manufacturers guide. Without further details of your HP computer/printer - make model operating system etc - that's the best we can do

    did you install the drivers?

if you did, then your ink is probably either dried up or bad.

are you using refilled or remanufactured inks? then there's your problem. seen it a million times. look up "printer ink sponges"...
