Am I right to avoid this betting shop?
My wife and I have interest in sport betting as in football, virtual horseracing etc
Yesterday I had a bet on a horse in virtual horseracing.
The horse won and when I went to collect the winnings, the person at counter said I was too late putting the bet on, saying the race had already started, and wouldn't pay out.
Despite the fact they took my money in the first place and no refund etc.
Is that wrong that I have decided to avoid this shop from now
Well, its only a side thing, we are more interested in the actual sports, we only bet occasionally but we always used this particular shop

I'd definitely avoid the shop, if they took the money they need to payout. By the way, research gambling addiction before you get to involved in betting, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I don't understand. Did you have a ticket or didn't you?

Avoid them but report them first. Taking your money like seems illegal to me.

They should have pointed that out instead of taking your money.
