In a retina exam, what does IS/OS loss mean?

My retina exam came back with a line reading "SF IS/OS loss. Diffuse atrophy." What does that mean?

    IS is the inner segment and OS is the outer segment of your retina. The junction of the two determine your eye's sensitivity. It drops as you get older or with some diseases, like diabetes type 2. So, your eyes are not as sensitive to distinctions as they should be

    Sounds like it means you have a lazy eye.
