Why do Nissan cube car only for Japanese?selling inside Japan not for export?

    They were sold in the U.S., but were not popular enough due to the really strange design. Of course, there ARE people who go for the odd looking cars just to be different, but there weren't enough of them to continue.

    It may come as a shock to you, but most Nissan cars are not made in Japan.

    Ive seen imported nissan cubes in australia and new zealand. Maybe theyre just not a popular car outside those countries. The whole boxy look is kinda ugly, and not very fuel efficient
