Why isn't is the law for women to ride side saddle?

When on a horse or as a passenger on a motor cycle.

Because that would be really dumb. You've obviously never ridden a horse.

Modern thinking is to have women driving now, no doubt so the men can relax in the back.

They also have women going out to work to take the strain off men.

And they even have women in the military, in the front line, to reduce the number of men killed.

It is all progress, is it not?

Pssssst, don"t tell the women the real reasons and ruin it all !!!

If they ride side saddle, how do they shift gears?

    Women wear pants now.

Sidesaddles are for women in skirts. Most women riding horses, bicycles or motorbikes are not wearing skirts but trousers, jeans or jodhpurs so sitting astride is more comfortable.

No you just have widespread rape and crime.

Women are less likely than men

    to be injured

    by straddling a saddle.

Bulls would risk injury from sitting on a saddle, also.

What the difference, most women don't wear skirts anyway these days

Same reason there isn't a law that forbids women from driving cars.

Yes women are no longer ladies.
