Tooth hurting, smoked after filling, was that a bad choice? Ps: I also ate afterwards too, I was hungry, I haven’t ate anything all day?

There is no problem with smoking after having fillings done on your teeth. ….but it’s not recommended to smoke. The reason why you can smoke after a root canal without worrying about the rct failing is because the hole made to access your roots will have been covered either by a temporary or permanent filling material.

With a filling, you can eat drink, smoke brush your teeth and do anything.

It is common for it to be tender for a few days afterwards, it is the pressure of the filling on the root of the tooth.
