2007 Kia Rio got the OBD codes $7e9 and $7ef. What do those mean and what parts do I need to get?

Go to an auto parts store and have the codes read. Write down the actual codes they pull. Your attempt at codes don't make any sense. Codes are P0xxx in nature. Codes also don't "tell you what to buy". They are just part of the diagnostic procedure.

Unless you want to drop the oil pan and plastigauge all the rods, Go to Kia and have the repair done.
