How do you mirror kindle fire hd8 to TV?

Finding too much information online and nothing really specific the the HD8. The TV is not a smart TV so if there's a way to do it with an HDMI cable or something. Also if there's something I should buy to make it work or simply a better tablet that can do it easier please leave a link to the product!

If your TV isn't a smart TV, but has an unused HDMI port, the easiest way would be to make it smart by plugging in a FireTV. You should be able to use the same account you use on the Kindle also on the FireTV, so no real need for mirroring.

As long as Amazon and Google keep on friendly terms, you just might be able to use a Chromecast adapter instead, if you can get your tablet to connect to it. Haven't checked that, it's only very recent that Amazon even enabled casting for their prime music service.
