Why can't we just admit that pollution is bad?

With all the debatable science, conspiracy theories and finger pointing, can't we all just agree to sensible and responsible waste disposal and energy production?

    corruption (follow the money)

Billionaire industrialists like the Koch Bros. learned it's much cheaper to buy rep politicians w/ donations than it would be to clean up their act.

Both gwb and trump withdrew US participation in international summits to reduce man's contamination footprint on the environment.

Pollution found a home w/ the US right wing who works for the wealthy/corporate America at the expense of the rest.

How? Land fills get full, Incinerators make more pollution, The true point is the advancement of mankind is killing this planet. Not enough food, clean water, we strip the forest of the trees that make the oxygen we breath. We seem to have no real idea how to undo the damage we have already done. SO HOW?

People often try to avoid the reasons for pollution even as they see the effects and the toil it takes on themselves and others. The environment is a serious problem that we cannot avoid since we need a clean one for sustainable life. Money and time is required to clean up and most aren't willing to put either of them in, so everybody suffers. This will not go on indefinitely for our Almighty God has said in Revelation 11:18 that He will "bring to ruin those ruining the earth". His purpose for mankind is to live in a cleansed peaceful earth which soon will be realized. Psalms 37:29

For quiet sometime we have known pollution is bad. And we are all taking 'small' steps to try and reduce pollution.

So let’s start by you admitting that your breathing out is bad.

    Okay.

    So now what? Kill you?

So the reason we can’t just “admit that pollution is bad” is because the problem is not a black-and-white moral problem.

The problem is a *relative* one of scarcity.

The question is how to balance your need to breath, with other people’s desire for the satisfaction of their wants.

So if you’re not going to solve the problem by killing yourself, or if you don’t agree it’s “sensible and responsible” for you to kill yourself, then you’ve got to come up with a better theory for understanding what pollution is, and how to deal with it.

I think most people don't like pollution. But finding a solution is so complicated that pollution, like many problems, is tolerated. The thing that helps me with cope is my faith. The Bible explains why conditions are this way today. Genesis chapters 2 & 3 show how God put the first humans in a beautiful paradise, and gave them everything, but they rebelled against Him. They lost paradise for themselves and all their offspring since....We weren't created with the ability to rule ourselves (Jeremiah 10:23). But thankfully, God has arranged for a kingdom soon to come, that will restore beautiful conditions to this Earth. If you would like to know more, see JW.org, Bible Teachings.

Before doing that, you have to define "pollution". Would you want to drink distilled water and breathe pure oxygen? Sometimes, what is bad in large quantities is beneficial in small ones.

Because money corrupts everything, we've known for a while now that Christianity is bunk but the church has so much money and power and reach that it just will not die.

The number of irresponsible people/ least cared about pollution are more obviously
