If I report someone anonymously for benefit fraud do they inform the person that have been reported & the area in which the report was made?

The DWP don't tell the benefit claimant anything, just they are being investigated

They don't tell the person who made the report, nor from where the complaint came. They'll tell them they are looking into their claim, that's all.
