    Every border in Europe had immigration stops. That and standardizing money are the two main reasons the European Union was formed. Now you just drive around wherever you like.

    They may have in Europe check points, but civilized people will deal with you.

    It is not comparable to the Apartheid state of Israel, it goes to the humor of the soldier, if he dosen't like you face he shoots you and blame it on his security.
