Is there any genetic difference between people of the Isle of Wight and the rest of England?

maybe there are some mutations that haven't gotten off the island yet, but there's no way there's a genetic marker saying "you are (not) from wight"

No. There's plenty of movement of population between the Isle of Wight and the mainland. Those born there tend to go to the mainland to study and find work. Much of the population is retired people from the mainland.
